How much should I have paid for a 28" Modified, uncut and the only marks I can find on it are a couple of ding in the buttstock just behind the pistol grip?
I know what I paid and have no doubt I got a good deal. Just wondering what the going rate is these days.
This leaves me "needing" only a single shot and a bolt action to have a grand slam. Pictures when I collect it in a day or two. |

Plain barrel? Solid rib? Vent Rib? The prices on them in the pawn shops around here have been creeping up. They use to be $200 or less, now closer to $300. I paid $189 for my "Sportsman" 16-gauge, 26-inch, solid rib, improved cylinder, back before the economy tanked in 2008.

I have been looking at these. They are going for $230 or so on GB. Local pawn shop has a 12 for $199.
ETA Not as nice of condition as posted. |
