I've been thinking about either buying or making a shotgun pull-cart. I don't get to the sporting clay ranges as often as I'd like because of the long drives and it would be fun and worthwhile to bring along a couple shotguns on a clay course.
Rugged Gear makes these carts, but they can get a little spendy ($300+) for something that won't get used a ton. I saw a nifty one at the last SW16 shoot made from a jogging stroller which can be found on craigslist for cheap.
Anyone try this?
I'm not above getting a new Rugged Gear cart if the homemade route is an engineering nightmare.

Bought a baby stroller at Goodwill with flat tires for $7.50, all the tires needed was air. Spent less than $15 at Home Depot for hardware. Had a pair of gun racks laying around doing nothing since I bought a gun boot for the ATV. So for just over $20 have a gun caddie that works great.
My shooting partner who said it sounded a little too ghetto even puts his gun and ammo in it!
Hint- they look a lot better on the clays course when you cut out all the baby retaining straps!

I converted a baby jogger I bought for $20 used. I cut off all the baby straps and added a bar across the top where I mounted a couple atv handlebar gun mounts. Muzzle ends go into a pair of foam beer coolies. My buddies laughed at my ghetto cart....then 5 mins later asked if they could put their stuff in it

I usually only take one gun to the range, but the carts you guys have come up with are so damned cool I'd like to have one, just because !

I have a Rugged Gear 2 Gun cart and like it. Make sure whatever you get has biggish inflatable tires and some suspension if possible. I've seen guys hauling around home made carts with solid tires and/or no suspension and it's a pretty bumpy ride. I bought mine used - they do show up once in awhile.
