I have a beater 16-gauge German SxS that has a few issues. I use it for low-gun start skeet with 3/4 oz shot. It isn't branded except for the Krupp Stahl logo on the barrels. Barrel flats say it's of October 1925 manufacture, nitro proofed. The right barrel ejects regardless of whether it's been shot; the left doesn't. It doesn't feel loose when closed, but the opening lever is a bit left of center and the crossbolt is a bit sunken. It is a bit hard to open when shot with full-power shells, but not with my reduced loads.

I'm not interested in returning this shotgun to pristine condition, but I'd like to have the above issues dealt with. Anyone know a competent gunsmith who knows what he's doing when working on old German guns?

Thanks in advance. I've also posted this at Shotgun World.
