Have 22 GL hulls using the 57 primer anad molded base wad,
28 Green hulls with plastic base using teh 209 type primers,
& 40 WIN "current Cheddite" hulls,
Any good loads for then using the HS-6 powder, wads can be either the WAA16, R16 or Sp16

When looking for loads try the old lyman books. There are many loads for HS-6 and the w-540 which is the same powder with a different name.

Usually you are looking at 1 1/8 oz or heavier laods with HS-6/WW 540.
From Lyman #2 manual
Remington asbestos base small primer(57) hull
CCI157 primer
25 grains HS-6
Remington SP-16 wad
1 1/8 oz lead shot
1260 fps @ 10330 LUP
From Lyman #4
Remington SP plastic base hull
CCI 209 Primer
25 grains HS-6 powder
Remington SP-16 wad
1 1/8 oz lead shot
1238 fps @ 10,200 LUP |
