Another test. If I can do it twice I should have it down. Laughing

jpgbox didn’t work for me, it told me the image had to be under 4 MB and all my photos are 4+ MB. There must be some way to reduce the resolution but I will have to figure that out.

Good Hunting,
Mike

Whoever your internet provider is should also provide a certain amount of storage on their server. Google provides 15 gigs free google account. There are a number of places to store and link your pictures to.

Photo bucket can eat it.

Kennedy756,

You now need to be a paying member of Photo Bucket to have the use of your own pictures. If you are a paying member you will not have an interruption in your Photo Bucket service, without a paying membership the block will come up on your already posted pictures, and you will not be able to post new one's on another Net forum.

As I understand it, they are limiting the bandwidth. Once your picture gets so many views it will no longer show and you will get the dreaded

What is the link to your picture and post? You may be able to see it because it is your account. Doesn't mean others can see it.

Bottom line is photobucket decided to ransom your pictures to the tune of $400 a year. Some have said they can't even download their own pictures. You can stay with PB if you want. I want nothing to do with supporting a company like that IMO. And the opinion of many others. You might want to download your pictures and take them elsewhere. If you can. If you can't then you will have to wait until the clock resets on your bandwidth usage next month.

Downloaded my pics from PB and put them in Dropbox until I can figure out which company I will use in the future.

I spent yesterday morning downloading all my images from pb onto a flash drive. From all the pop-ups and refresh/restarts I had to endure to complete that task I don't think I'm going to miss pb even a little bit.

Jumped on Imgur and so far it seems relatively painless...

I still have my digital photographs on the SD cards, so I just deleted them off the photobucket site. then on the 4th I cancelled my account, which it said would be completely deleted today. I haven't check to see if they have or not due to lack of interest.
