Fyi, I was told by the Italian Firearms Group, who imports Isides, that they can be had in a 16/20 combo. The extra barrel is roughly $1k extra. Not much a guy couldn't do with a combo like that except perhaps heavy long range duck duty.

Nice setup; hunt with the 16 barrels and bang away at clays with cheap 20 ga. ammo.

Interesting option for exactly the utility of hunting/clay shooting as mentioned above. I wonder if they would do a POW stock on their single trigger Iside?

That's what I was thinking. You could probably order a set of 20ga barrels for your 16 Iside if you wanted to.

At this point it's about the only scenario where a 20 gauge makes sense to me. If I were just starting my 16 gauge journey it would be a great plan, but I am invested in the 16 gauge to the point of no return.

I bought the original 1620 made by Merkel. I convinced myself this would be the only shotgun I would ever need. I never put the 20b barrels on the receiver and only shot the 16 and I don’t shoot that gun anymore.
