I’d guess 0 pheasants as I don’t hunt them but hopefully a pile of ducks.
Made by BOSS shot shells out of Bridgeman MI.
Copper plated bismuth.
Only sold from their website and shipped directly to you.
Loads from 10ga-.410
I’m not paid by them or work for them. I just really like their shells.

I see they offer 3s or 5s, I have used Kent bismuth 5s with good results on ducks but would 3s be any better? Thought about getting one box of both from boss and pattern them too see. |

Last years are red. They made them purple this year and added 20rd boxes. Plus you get the nice canvas shell bag.
I’ve had no complaints with #5’s from teal to divers and geese. All over decoys. |

I got an email this afternoon that my Boss shipment had been delivered. I should have received a speeding ticket on my way home from work. A bag of 5's and a bag of 7's. And a few 28 ga.
I am most excited about the seven's. I have a supply of no tox loads for duck and pheasants. But my wife shoots mostly woodcock, ruffed grouse and quail. The last few years she has used Kent Bismuth sixes, but now we will try the Boss Bismuth sevens.
Before this year, the only commercially available 16 nontoxic fine shot was 2.5 inch bismuth sevens from RST at $65 a box of 25. $2.60 a shell.
Boss Bismuth in the bulk bag are $1.35 a shell, for much more potent loads.
I guess technically TSS is non toxic fine shot, but at 8.00 a shell I wont be shooting many at flying game.
The waxed cotton bag and the waxed purple boxes are so cool. |

In addition to Boss and RST, Kent bismuth has been around for awhile. In addition to that Hevishot in 16 is out there, is Remington steel loads, federal steel loads, which though hard to find are out there, although shot size is limited. |

I oughta order another hundred while the getting is good. That's a good price for a quality load.
I lucked into some 100 packs of Kent 12 gauge 5's for $109 shipped from Rodgers. I 1/16 oz @ 1350, perfect for my BSS. I think the 5's are sold out, but they had 6's left the other day when I looked.
I'm taking my old 16 ga. Remington Model 11 on opening day this year. I'll work-in the BSS as the season progresses. |
