Just a few from this season. Mostly I have been walking the field edges. No birds just squirrels. I have been mostly using my zastava but next time out the 53 belgium A5 is coming with me.

Gentlemen,

That dog is really from the NJ, you can tell by the Glow in his eyes, must have been transplanted to WI for sure.

My upland season hasn't started yet. I have however been shooting some dove. Can't call it hunting when you have a place so filled with target opportunities. And if anything there are more here now than in September.

Kent Bismuth #5's dropped this drake wood duck cleanly out of the IM tube in my SW16. After hoisting a 12 gauge for the last couple weekends the SW16 felt mighty good!

My older dog 'Gus" had a fun morning hunt.

Dave Erickson,

Beautiful Dog, Duck and Gun, very serious stuff! Congrats on a fine Male Wood Duck, I hope you mounted that one!

It got mounted in the frying pan last night with the other weekend ducks. Smile I cut the ducks up into tips and sauté with bacon, onions, mushrooms and a bit of ginger. Woodies are especially good eating ducks.

I greatly enjoy the first couple weeks of duck hunting. My dogs are well suited to it and watching them complete the often blind retrieves is rewarding.

Next Saturday pheasant opens in WI and MN, so it's time to shift gears. Hope to fit in some grouse hunting later in the month.

November will see Iowa and South Dakota added to the mix.

Dave great job with the "New" Swt 16 . Hunted with mine for the first time since the straight stock conversion . Killed a limit of dove with it , I like it even more now than I did before . They where tough birds this weekend this was the third time we shot this field and I am proud to say I was the only one to get a limit . A lot of 16ga envy.

Mark, I can't think of a better dove gun. The new SW16 does a lot of things well. Mine will get a workout on pheasants in the coming weeks.

Hey all, today my son and I hunted our friends ranch north of Mandan. It was a bit chilly this morning (in the 30's) and a bit breezy. We saw birds today, more than earlier this year. We each got 2. I should have limited, but flat missed one!. I had a very enjoyable day with my son, can't put a price on that. Raina also worked well, happy with her. A very good day!

Jim with his birds. He used my 12ga SIACE 350G:

My birds I used my 16ga Ugartechea 1030

And Raina with the days bag

Best

Hey all, I was thinking, should we just stick to guns and game using a 16ga or should we open it to all Gauges?

Your input please!

Greg
