All gauges with an emphasis on 16 gauge
Of course we all know the 16 gauge is BEST but many of the
older FINE guns were in other gauges, why punish them Embarassed

Just like in Vintage Sporting Clays, a 16 gauge get an extra point, two triggers another, hammers another, straight grip another and so on and so on

Yaaaaa Hooooo

Mike

Not the greatest pictures, but it was a great morning. Windy, wet, and brisk at daybreak. The ducks were flying. Then the last of the wet mess blew out of here and big Gus and I broke the 2017 pheasant ice just before 11:00. Typical early Wisconsin season stick tights on ol' Gus. Zeb got the duck action again. He hasn't lost one yet.

Not a pretty day, but certainly effective. It was 77 degrees, no wind and lots of green, but Miss May did a nice job. Hour and a half hunt she went through 2 quarts of water and more once we got back to the truck.

Hey all, went out solo today, hunted a place about a mile or so from the house, did very well, was able to limit and got a double in the process! Raina did very well, just a nice day!

I used my 16ga Garbi 100

Dave,
The new sweets make fine duck guns shot a pile of woodies,4 mallards and 2 blacks. Fed steel #4's in the IC choke killed them clean to 35 yards. What a joy in the marsh stuck in the mud wading over logs the light quick handling gun really makes it nice. I think the old 1100 16 gauge will be retired. The boy's pointed 17 woodcock on Saturday my son shot a couple for the boys and I shot a couple we had to pull the dogs out of the cover halfway through save some for next weekend.

You can say that again! In the flooded timber I have to hold a shotgun in the ready position in order to get shots at daybreak, and what a delight to hold a <6 lb. SW16!
