Here's my hammer 16, evidently by Ladislav Svestka of Prague, whose name is inlaid in gold colored metal (gold??) on the barrel -- pretty nice damascus.

Really light. 29 3/4 inch barrels. Rebounding locks, action is nice and tight. I need to restock or butt-transplant it to make it fit me. I want to straight-grip it. It has most wonderful crisp trigger pulls -- not heavy, and not too light -- they feel better than those of my Perazzi. |

I LOVE all these svelte 16's , so why I like my junker Davis ... My hammer guns are 2 97's and an 1889 Remmie 10 ga that needs to be mounted on a truck !! |
