Hello All, I want to thank everyone that makes this forum my favorite site on the web. I really enjoy the stories and the information. I have an old Browning humpback that is in need of a good gunsmith that can correct some internal problem in the receiver. Could someone provide a name and contact?Thank you, Tom Kilgore |

Art's Gun Shop is rated the very best with A5's period. |

Agree, Art's is top notch. Fixed my poor cycling A5 in a short amount of time. |

I agree with the recommendations of Art's. I recently spoke with him and in a 5 min phone conversation I learned more about the auto 5 than I ever new. I ended up purchasing an auto-5 in 16 gauge. I am very leary about online shopping for used guns, but I have full confidence about the gun I'm purchasing is accurate to the description. His prices seem very reasonable as well. |

My dad had a '53 Light Twelve and after I graduated from college and was seeking employment I stayed with him a few weeks. One day in-between interviews, for lack of anything better, I dismantled it right down to every pin, screw and spring. then cleaned it all, lightly oiled and reassembled. then cycled a few shells through it to confirm that it was in proper working order. Watching this my dad concluded that I was going into the wrong business. It was in California and even then (1977) I could see a lot of downside for anything involving firearms. But I still love to take 'em apart and put them back together again. And the A5 is great for that. |
