Hello, I did not know where to introduce myself, so I do it here. My name is Oscar, I am Spanish and hunting enthusiast. I have hunted most of my life with the 12 gauge, but for a while I have been side by side shotgun 20 gauge, but I've always wanted a side by side shotgun 16 gauge excellent the last few months in contact with a man who sold a shotgun Arturo Fernandez of this caliber and am now waiting for the bureaucracy ineffable my country allow me to enjoy the game from 16.

Thank you very much for the welcome, regarding AyA shotguns are the best guns in the world in my point of view. I have a basic model of AyA, in 20 gauge and with it I killed a rabbit and a few Spanish doves Trust cartridge 26 grams of lead and pellet the number 6. I hope to get good results with 16 shotgun and if I folded a piece feel free to go up the photos of the results.

Best regards,

Oscar.

Hi, thanks for the welcome, I'm not able to contribute much to the forum, at least for now, until I start using the 16 gauge.

Welcome Oscar, you'll enjoy this site. My main go to SxS is a Ugarthecha 16 ga. straight grip, 27+ inches barrels choked IC & Mod. with ejectors, great upland bird shotgun.

Ugartechea Shotguns are good weapons, a friend of mine has a 12 gauge and without a high-end spent many years hunting with that gun and it has not ever failed, faults are of the shooter lol. Thanks for your welcome;

Oscar.

Hi, thanks for your welcome, I think the Spanish hunter is realizing that the 16 gauge shotgun is the most balanced of large calibers (12-16-20, I did not include the 14 because its existence today is merely testimonial), then with 28 grams, the 16 does the same "work" that 12, with higher loads lead. I'll tell you as I develop in the field with my "Artura" 16 gauge.

Best regards,

Oscar.

Hi Mike, thank you too for the welcome, tomorrow I'm going to collect the document that authorizes me to have the shotgun and I too will probably go for the shotgun which is deposited in the place where weapons are involved. When I have the gun in my hands I will make detailed pictures and God willing on Sunday 21st descaste try hunting rabbits. I promise photos.

Oscar.
