A couple of nice looking guns wj Jeffery! Your sons Gorosabel is a bit more svelte than my 10 ga. Thanks for posting the photos
I forgot that I took the 10 ga out about 5-6 years ago turkey hunting. Last time that I did that! I think that indiscretion helped contribute to my hip replacement last month....tongue in cheek of course, but it is a heavy and IMO only suitable for a waterfowl blind. |

Our bird seasons in Maine on the upland side will end this coming Saturday, 12/30. Some waterfowl will remain open past the turn of the year but at this point only grouse and pheasant remain open. Woodcock ad such closed in mid-November, around the time the ground was anticipated to freeze. Hares will remain open through the end of March.
Other states have different seasons. When I was a kid in Pennsylvania, small game reopened Boxing Day and ran through January. Those seasons still exist, though in modified form. |
