So I’m at a gun show in Ft. Worth yesterday and this gentleman had 2 Belgian made 12’s. I somewhat jokingly asked if he had in sweet sixteens, because I don’t think I’ve ever seen one at a gun show. In fact he did have one! 1969 fixed modified. Beautiful gun. I took a walk to think about the $1500 he was asking for it and in that 10 mins, it was sold to someone who didn’t have to think that hard on the money, lol. Now this thing had gold inlay...haven’t seen that before. Did this gun ever come with gold inlay or was this an aftermarket add on? |

At one time a kit was available to fill in scrollwork,sn's,etc Gold or silver were the choices--I also would have walked at the $1500---Would have offered him a grand and went from there |

Ugh.......that poor ol’ sweet indicates why we have all manner of shotguns, dogs, chokes and boots......and probably, fins on 60s cadillacs.
Choice...is a good thing. |
