Real nice shooting enjoy your meals! Might consider shooting some different shells, steel is deadly, but hard on your LeFever double gun.

i had an old Ithaca 12 ga. Flues that digested thousands of rounds of steel, never a problem with it. Like I said earlier, the Lefever isn't exactly pristine. When I finish up the L.C. Smith, it will be my "go to" 16 ga. for steel shot. It handles more like a duck gun anyway. It is a "fixer upper" that I am fixing up. Truth be known, these old guns likely have a lot more good seasons left in them than both of us combined, with steel or lead.
