My personal rule of thumb is that if I love a gun I will buy it and not worry whether the price is a little high. 10 years from now the price will be irrelevant if you paid a little more or less than it's value. That being said if I don't love it and just like it I will usually pass on it. Then I get buyers remorse... If you love it and plan on keeping it I say go for it. If you would resell it you might take a loss. Just my opinion. Let us know... Thanks RB

I have a thumb a lot like that. When I lose money, for the most part I've expected to and it was part of the purchase decision. The work on this Sterlingworth is pretty good, the value is whatever the seller and buyer agree to. I actually like the fact the word Sterlingworth was not removed, the gun is what it was originally built to be with nice engraving added.

Agree with KGB . Work looks to be well done and I too like the idea that they are not trying to hide it's a Sterly . $2800 for a 16 Sterly and nice engraving is ok with me . I would spend the money , restock with a nice piece of wood and shoot the hell out of it .

Skeettx, we're bird hunters here, as such we don't tread water, we dog paddle!
