Anyone else notice we've had a surge of new forum members joining in the last couple months? Word must be getting out about the beloved 16.

Welcome to all the new guys. Hope you enjoy yourselves here.

Marcus

Won't be long and I'll be one of the "old guys" in more ways than one.

Could be some folks coming over from the 16 Gauge Society on Facebook. Many there, including me, frequent both sites.

I'm new here and fairly new to the 16 bore. In my crowd, the 16 gauge is increasing in popularity and for good reason. I have been surprised. Many guys are either are looking to buy or have recently bought one of the new Browning sweet 16s. I bought a Citori last summer and liked the gauge so much I decided to buy the Browning auto this winter. Now I think I need some old guns in 16 ga too, Maybe an AH Fox, a Model 12, and perhaps an original Auto 5 sweet 16 to start.

I need a 12 step program for shotgun addicts.

I usually hate forums and these days I avoid them like the plague. Like I stated in an earlier post, shooting a 16 gauge can be a lonely endeavor. A man needs friends of common interest or perhaps even common illness.

12 step?

You only have 2 - 16 gauge guns? You are a long way from 12, 10 more to go!! Then you go on the 12 step program!! Laughing Laughing

Hello and Welcome to all the new members of the 16 Gauge Society.

Bret, just ask her if she's ever seen a golfer with just one club? Laughing

The really bad thing is that my wife is a wingshooter. Though she understands my shotgun habit to some degree she is very demanding about getting one for one. That gets expensive!

Its really been more like two or three to one but let's keep that our secret. Wink

Agreed that the quickly growing Facebook group is no doubt contributing to the increased activity from new members here.

I love coming to this forum and find that the majority of my time spent here is searching through old posts and reading the invaluable collective knowledge of the group here. The archives of info for some obscure guns is UNBELIEVABLE.

Ted
