Bret,

I know us old guys hunt a lot of Grouse and most of us have more than a few 16 and 28 Gauge Double Guns. It is nice to see the younger generations coming around to some mighty fine Double Guns. When you have each in different length Barrels choked for the different mountain habitat you hunt on, you start to realize a man can never have to many classic double guns.

A man can never have to many Classic Best 16 Double Guns.

J.P. Sauer 16 Grouse Gun - Older than I will ever live to be.
Shooting #8 or #7 1/2 SpreadR Shells out of her is almost like cheating.

Beautiful Gun!!! I love old guns but could never afford the luxury of guns that couldn't shoot steel shot, therefore, almost all of my guns are newer guns.
Now that I am to a point in life where I have some expendable income I have started buying a few older guns. Because I am from Ogden Utah and I have been a John M. Browning fan my whole life I have focused on browning designs in browning influenced guns mostly to this point. I picked up a Superposed and a 1918 model 12 in the last year. I intend to keep collecting shootable classic shotguns both Browning designs and others over the next years. I need a double 16 soon. Maybe an AH Fox.

It's fun to read all of the past posts on this board there are some really knowledgeable shotgun men here. I'm here to learn and share.

New members and more interest is good. Seems ammo and gun choices in 16 gauge have increased lately here. It's only a matter of time until everyone finds out that 16 gauge rules.
