Visited Flying Rabbit Sporting Clays for the first time Friday afternoon. Located in Mount Crawford just south of Harrisonburg, VA. On the 50 target round the boy and I shot 38% & 48%, respectively. The 25 rounds of wobble trap to warm up... just as well that we didn't write down a score. Well pleased with our results considering how little we get out and shoot here recently. Friendly staff and a self-service operation after you have the targets put on the pass card that activates the controls at each station. Saw evidence of other 16ga. enthusiasts in the spent shell buckets as well.

Evidence in the spent shell buckets? Are you allowed to raid those buckets? Just saying...

Well.... it wasn't as much evidence as a professed scrounger would hope for. As a good steward of the opportunity to shoot there, we did help a few rusty Fiocchi 16ga. shells on the ground find a way to the trash barrel. One lonely and freshly spent Herter's was the only prize we left with... in addition to the ones we brought with us.
