They may have to be in school on friday but they can have fun with us shooting under the lights that evening! I am sure we could fit them in for some shooting on Saturday shooting as well.
Having young Brian there in April was fun for everybody so more young shooters are always welcome.
I will make up for not bringing my Chicken Creole for the spring shoot by preparing it for the crowd at our fall shoot. i have been reminding myself of that each time I make it here at home and will bring the fixin's so I can make it Saturday morning and it can cook in the crock pot while we are shooting that morning.

we know youre razin us dave, but its still kinda disheartening.

It's mostly a time of year thing, Bobski. Up here everyone is wrapping up or has wrapped up the clay bird season. October is sacred.

understood, and we've been over this already.
every month is a hunting month.
personally its why i don't hunt or fish.
my friends are valued more than fowl, any time of the year. I consider visits and invites sacred.
just me.

and, all the (never responded list) is mainly from ar/mo/ks. I thought for sure more would chime in.
at least the no's were polite enough to pm me and say no or maybe.

im just very thankful I was able to fill the void with locals, for the 16ga guys to have a shoot.

ok, back up to 14.
one of my regulars is coming with his wife in a 22' camper.
jim is his name. wife is gwen.
jim is an avid clay shooter. he acts as my rangemaster at times and can play a good game of skeet.
he also loves night birds, so it looks like we will have a real crowd Friday, if it doesn't rain.
jims bringing homemade potato salad and chips/dip, plus a pumpkin pie for the turkey shoot 3rd relay.

I count 6 playing night birds so far.

sorry guys. jim isn't a 16ga member. he's one of the other guys.
