df,
Don't think I have ever seen an original Citori without high gloss stocks. have seen a couple that people have refinished in their own particular way, and to me they just do not look right.

I have a 20 ga. Superlight with and English stock bought new that is not gloss. I've been thinking about having my 16 grade III stripped . Beautiful wood but the finish makes it look fake |

If you have a gloss finish and want to make it less shiny you don’t have to refinish the wood. You can use a number of different methods to decrease the shine. Scotch Brite pads and paste wax work well. Talk to a stock maker/refinisher and if they’re any good they’ve done this before and it shouldn’t be expensive. To do it yourself go to a word working store and ask.
