Here I sit at work, but .... That image brought a warm feeling! I used to love fishing for the bream with foam spiders, black knats, and popping bugs! Been way too long, thanks for the reminder and the image, Lets see if I can post one of mine???

I used to love poppers and gils on my hometown lake. Now it's an ultralight spinning rig and micro jigs. What have I become??

Gentlemen,

I love the mountain streams and Fly Fishing for Trout, a few white fish and Crappies and small mouth's mixed in make for a very interesting outing!

Haven’t tried with a fly rod but catching bluegills is always a good time.

Great photos! Few things say summer better than that little 'fchlup' sound when a fat bluegill sucks down a popper.
