I've lurked on the board for several years and enjoy the discussions. I've posted these on some other boards I frequent and thought perhaps some of you might enjoy them as well. I've also not been able to figure out how to embed the videos in my post.

These are videos of myself and some friends hunting quail and pheasant.

Thank you for your kind words. I love making the videos and am blessed to have a lot of opportunities to do so. I keep working to make the footage more enjoyable in hopes that others will share the joy I get from shooting/editing the hunts.

My "go to" shotgun is a 20 gauge Huglu imported by Dehaan. I also will occasionally shoot a sidelock made by Frederick Beesley. I don't shoot the Beesley as well as the Dehaan but take way more pleasure in owning it.

The male vizsla and female shorthair/pointer cross are my two dogs (Rhett and Ellie respectively). I've also recently added a pointer from a trainer near you, Channing, Texas. This fall will be her first season and I'm aching to see her work on wild birds.

I attended West Texas A&M and lived in Canyon for four years. I worked in Amarillo (at The Photo Store) next to Michael's.

I really enjoyed Amarillo. It was a large town with a real small town feel. I'd drive past the plant going and coming from home in Beaver.

I graduated high school at Beaver. Both my parents were teachers (now retired). I moved home 6 years ago and love it.

Welcome to 16ga and thanks for posting the videos. My pups and I had a great time watching them. Is the Beesley a 16 bore?

Good Hunting,
Mike

I'm glad you enjoyed the videos. The Beesley is not a 16. I wish it were.

I'll post a picture when I get back to a PC.

I spent 8 years working on the construction of the Marble Hill nuclear power plant in southern Indiana. great learning experience on how electricity is generated using nuclear power.

Thanks for the pics. Beautiful gun and I also like the Pure Gold diamond shot shells. I still have a few boxes of the paper hulled ones, but I could never find them for 16 bore. However, the RST shells work really well for my collection of Army & Navy 16 bores.

Good Hunting,
Mike
