I searched the site for some recipes, but came up blank. Anybody have one for 2 1/2 Cheddite 3/4 and 1 oz? I've also got Cheddite primers and International Clays on hand, but of course not limited to those components.
Thanks,
Mike |

This is the only 2 1/2" load for Cheddite listed in Precisions' Bismuth Manual.
Win.209 primer,17.5 grns Green Dot,TUWZ2M16GA wad, 3/4 oz of Bismuth shot, size 7 1/2 or smaller. 1291 FPS with a PSI of 11,010.
There are a couple of more for Federal and Remington cut to 2 1/2" and roll crimped that are much better sounding if you would like them. |

From the Eighth Edition Bismuth Reloading Manual from Precision Reloading.
16 gauge Federal plastic hull with paper basewad cut to 2 1//2 inches with roll crimp
Win209 primer, 20 grains of Unique powder,Remington SP16 wad with 2 20 gauge .028 card wads( over shot),15/16 oz of Bismuth shot #4 or smaller. Velocity 1241 fps,PSI 7920.
16 gauge Remington hull 2 piece plastic cut to 2 1/2 inches and roll crimp.
Win. 209 primer, 16 grains of Green Dot, Remington SP16 wad with 2-20gauge .028 cards (over shot). 7/8 oz of Bismuth shot #4 or smaller. Velocity 1255 with the PSI being 11350.
Hope this helps, the Federal seems like a nice low pressure load. Good Luck!
As a side note I've found #4 Bismuth the perfect match for the 16 gauge. |

thanx again OW for those ... I'm going to be using the Unique load this yr in 25/8 and folded ... with those ballistics , I don't see why they wouldn't cross over to Chedd cases . |

Thanks for the load data Ohio Wirehair
Had a pile of old Federal hulls, Win Primers, Unique, bismuth, and SP16s, just not the newer load manual. New Project!!!
Really good to know, now that Missouri is talking about non-toxic for doves on 36 public conservation areas... |
