Thumbs up ++ Carlos! -- John Buchan, The Right Honourable Lord Tweedsmuir, and one time Governor General of Canada, also wrote adventure fiction, including the famous The Thirty-Nine Steps, which later was made into a movie of the same name staring Rober Donat, et al. John Macnab is a novel Buchan wrote about some fellows, including the eponymous character, who turned to poaching for sport, evidently having nothing more exciting or amusing to do. |
