Old friend and new pups with son’s first trip to the Dakotas. We lucked into a couple of prairie chickens and enough roosters to keep the pups interested, and the son as well.

It looks like you had some nice weather and thanks for the photo tour. My best hunts are always the ones I take with my kids and a week ago I took my oldest grandson on his first hunt. It’s good to see that we are passing on the tradition to the next generation,

Good Hunting,
Mike

Great stuff!!! I remember taking my son bird hunting for the first time.

It looks like things are going to line up just right. I am retiring next July and moving somewhere 1500 to 1700 miles west of CT. In all the years of going to Nebraska, my son has never been able to go with me. I can't wait until my son can hunt with me in a setting similar to those pictures. If I am lucky enough, I will get to watch my Grandson bird hunt someday.

Thanks for the great pictures cowdoc87!!

Love the pics, I "should" be in North Dakota right now. Usually go this week for duck hunting, but alas this year has been frought with medical isues and I have already taken enough time away from the office. Not to mention it would be difficult physically still. But next year!!!!! i hope to be back to 100% and give'em hell.
