If anyone is looking for a unique 16 ga over under, there’s a Citori Heritage on gunbroker.
Very nice wood, and false side plates with some inlays.
Big $$$ though.
There was a very limited number of these made.
I bought one a few years back.
That style is not for everyone, but I like it.
Mine will see the Ks pheasant opener this weekend. |

$5000.00? What was the price when Browning brought them out? |

I don’t know introduction price.
I paid $4500 for mine several years ago. It has exceptional wood and was NIB. It was on GB and nobody bid against me, might be a reason for that. Prior to that I chased one on GB that was used and I dropped off at $4700. Believe it went for $4900.
There were not many of them made. |

Beautiful guns. There was one that sold up here in Canada earlier this year, believe it went for around $6500, so the 5k US seems about the going rate I guess. And here in Ontario, add 13% tax onto that $6500 :/ |

a friend of mine bought one new back in about 2012 for over 6k; after he died, I had a local dealer here in Duluth, Mn sell it on GB...he got around 4k for it...that would have been late in 2013 or so. |

Cool. That gun is just down the road from me. Lucky I’m in gun selling, not gun buying, mode.
