Hi Everyone,
I guess its bound to happen in 15 years of managing this forum; the other day I goofed when doing some maintenance and deleted a handful of recently signed up user accounts. I have the email addresses for half of them and will be sending out a note to those users. Fortunately 75% of them weren't activated yet, but unfortunately 25% were, so those folks will have lost their initial posts.
So, if you aren't able to log-in, and you are a recently signed up user - you should be able to register your account again.
I am very sorry about this - over all of these years I have made a concerted effort to not do dumb stuff like this, ughh! One positive, I know exactly what I did - so it won't happen again.
PM me with any questions.

The only way I know to not make mistakes, is to do nothing. That way you only make 1 mistake, doing nothing. |

I have tried to join this site with a paid membership but when I click on Join Us it says that memberships are temporarily disabled.
Am I doing something wrong or are you not taking new members at this time?

My account was activated today, it took a while, but no problem; it's better to wait than to see the forum carpet bombed with spam every second day!
Plus, my 16ga Remington Model 11 has been in my family for a couple generations now, so it isn't like waiting for a couple weeks to talk would have killed my interest! |

Thanks for the warm welcome!
It sure is, I've fired it so much that it feels like an extension of my arm now, even the M4 I carried for a couple years in my Stryker never became as natural as my good ol' Model 11! Not to mention that said M4 never bagged any turkey or duck, for some obscure reason. |
