Where are you hearing that? Last I heard they were having a hard time making enough of them.

I’m with Dave, I’d called Browning this summer to ask about an extra magazine cap and was told they were trying so hard to meet demand that few extra parts were available. Perhaps something has changed but it seems doubtful.

I was hot to trot to buy one till I handled the pistol grip. I know that some have modified them.

Sellers trying to generate sales at higher prices. Most dealers with lower retail prices can't keep them in stock. Especially the 26 inch model.

The traditional Citori line is being phased out in favor of the 725 Citori but if you look all of those guns are now off the current production list. The sweet is still sitting in happily in current production at least as of now. I would be surprised if they were to discontinue it. It's a great gun and a very popular gun. Of course, I never thought I would live to see the Citori die either.

If there isn't a 24" Upland Shot Show Special this year, someone in Browning's Marketing Department should be kicked to the curb..

But then again, superlights and superlight feathers seem to have gone away in the citori line... I'm not a fan of straight stocks with single triggers on double guns, but on an autoloader, it is passable..

Browning’s ShotShow specials have been really lacking the last few years IMO. Most are just models they plan on making regular catalog items anyways. The last special I was excited about enough to buy was the GrIII BPS 16g. They need to start making more ‘specials’ like that. If they’d make a Superlight 16g with upgraded wood in an oil finish I’d be all over it. And yes, an Upland A5 Sweet would be very tempting as well.
