The Turnpike Troubadours are awesome. I listen to them on Pandora often. I've heard this song with its refrain " Back to Cherokee County" many times. But I never picked up the bird hunting lyrics in the beginning. I'm ashamed, |

Here is another from Turnpike Troubadours with a reference to an auto 5. This was my first exposure to them. My daughter found “the bird hunters” while I was looking for some background music for a home video. Immediately loved them.
Last summer Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town came to Toronto on tour. TT were the openers and I was pumped to see them. Couldn’t wait...got there and nada. Apparently the lead singer had something going with Miranda and there was a split right before the show. I was so bummed...still am. |
