I am now out of finished hull trimmers at this point I have to buy supplies to make more. I am here to ask if there is any new interest in them as sales have fallen off sharply in the last year. Thanks for the input |

I think I bought one from you some time back. They are excellent. You should post a photo. |

How do they work? Are they faster than the BP trimmer? I've seen them recommended here but don't remember a photo. I think I want one... |

I'm gearing up to start reloading shotgun shells. Plan to reload for both 2.5 and 2.75" chambers. Don't know what this device mentioned is used for. Would someone explain it to me? I would likely put in an order for one if it's something I will need, as I have no shotgun shell reloading gear yet. |

They are a rotary cutter which chucks up to a drill. Quick and efficient, the only thing that slows you down a bit is having to stop and remove the trimmed waste off the shell cutter after a number if shells.
I use mine in a hand drill, but could use in a drill press too. The length of the tool is adjustable with a screw where it meets the base of the shell when inserted and locks with a nut. The only other method I’d consider is a table saw jig which could trim multiple shells at a time.
You need one. |

Byrdog,
Isn't there a YouTube video of you and the cutter, out there? I remember watching it a couple years ago. |

This is the first prototype It is a drilled dowel. the current version is much better it is a phenolic tube with the hole in the center, no wobble. Please ignore the pricing in this vid.

Took me about an hour with the Byrdog trimmer to do my first 100, now it's about 10 minutes. I don't use it with a drill. I put a couple wraps of cloth friction tape around the shaft and twist it by hand...very quick and easy.
Never was able to produce a single decent trimmed hull with the BP trimmer. It might serve as a cheese or carrot slicer however.

repost that video with a way to buy one of these, and you'll sell more (if you even want to). Several people posted queries on how to get one and no one knew. |

I highly recommend this trimmer Byrdog makes. I bought one from him last year and it is a great tool. |
