Aurellio,
Because you are having such a problem with your gun mount it maybe advisable to take a class on proper gun mount and have your gun fit to your needs.
Long ago I took such a class at H&H in England, there are other places here in the states to take classes also. You might want to consider attending one of the professional shooting classes.
The good ones are very worth while.

Dave,I'm glad it's just me cause I'm in love with that old Sauer hammer gun.The last time I went hunting was for blue grouse over ten years ago and I got 2 and missed one.I got away from the sport because I started a fishing lodge back in 2004 so I'm busy in the spring and summer then I get elk hunters in the fall, but I miss wing shooting so for now I will go up the road to shoot a lot of clay birds to get back in shape and if I have problems I will give the NRA range a call they are about 2 1/2 hours away.I am glad I found this forum because it has been very helpful. |

Aurellio,
Sense you have the fishing lodge you might consider becoming a RGS Mentor. I have been doing this myself. Introduce some of our youngsters to the upland shooting life.
Get them hooked on beautiful gun dogs, fine double guns and God's great outdoors, instead of letting them be influenced in public school, into drugs and crime.
I have been doing this myself, right here at my Grouse Camp Log Cabin, once I get the youngsters interested in Grouse hunting & Fly Fishing they do not hang around with the drug crowd and commit crimes.
I started by talking with the Grouse hunter and Fly Fisherman who come to my place to hunt and fish. Not only does this help the youngsters it helps increase our bird hunting & Fly Fishing ranks.

I do things for the local TU chapter and they do stuff with kids.I really don't have the patience or time even though I am a fishing guide. We have taken in people during the winter who need help you would not believe how some of these people live out here no running water or elec. they found one guy froze to death this year, but it is one of the most beautiful places I have seen so we moved here from ST. Louis MO.Anyway I have been practicing mounting the gun which was the problem from the beginning. |
