Any idea what an earlier run NIB straight grip 16ga Grade 1 Superlight Feather would fetch? |

Kinda wish I had not seen that I missed out on the 2019 run of citori superlight 16 with straight grip. I've got the Lightning Feather with semi pistol grip. I love it. But a straight stock is appealing. Also, mine has the hard epoxy-like finish that I have never cared for. I shouldn't worry about the finish though since the chukar hunting has taken its toll. It's got more than "light handling marks" |

Yes our chukar haunts are not the place to carry a showpiece. And those bowling pin finishes don’t take kindly to a slip or spill. HOWEVER I found a good trick to hiding those ugly bright scrapes in the plastic finish - find a permanent colored marker like a Sharpie that’s a shade darker than the wood and carefully apply it with a toothpick. The plastic soaks up the color and now those unsightly gouges look like mere minor dings and bumps in mellow aged wood. Paint for plastic models works as good or better, and more colors are available.
