Gentlemen,
Garhart Stephenson does it again, another great hunting article on Huns this time.
Of all the newer sports writers these days Garhart has become my favorite. He tells authentic hunting stories in his totally individual way, you can tell he actually does the upland hunting he writes about, and his pictures are fantastic. To us upland shooting lifers Garhart is a breath of fresh air, in the modern sporting world.
"Hungarian partridge seldom play by the rules, and only the hunters and dogs able to adapt will find themselves rewarded with in-range covey flushes and birds in the hand."

Real time hunting stories and great pictures to go along with the articles! If you have ever gunned Huns in the mountains, see his actual pictures of what it really looks like. See the great pictures in the SSM Sept/Oct 2019 Magazine.

Thanks for the kind words. I haven't seen the final copy yet, so you have one up on me, but I know some of the images are not mine. |

My only complaint about the article was that there were no photos of Rusty! Early in the article you mentioned another dog and I had to check an make sure you were the author! |

I looked it over today. Somebody else provided the photos (even the sage grouse shot!). I need to get more hun photos to submit with such articles. I'm fairly good on most species, but I have not done a good job of getting enough images of some. Anyway, thank you for the encouragement guys; it always helps. |
