You're right: That IS what you asked for, and we got a little off track. Can't help you, though; I don't reload Confused !

JIG,
What hulls are you planning to reload, and what wads do you have available to you? We'll see what we can do from there.

Everybody likes to give there two cents. The sixteen is truly versitile I applaud you for wanting to use 7/8 to 1 1/8 oz. loads. That will increase the time that 16 gauge is in the field with you.Thats why you only need a sixteen you can load 28 gauge to 12 gauge loads. Join the loading group there are recipes for everything you want to load. Pm RWG he will tell you how to join.I don't know where to find his email but somebody can help. Also all the Powder Company's have data on there web sites.

I'm with PuddlePointer, the best thing about the 16 ga. is it's versitility. I use everything from 5/8 oz. loads for skeet to 1 1/4 oz. loads for pheasants in my Sterlingworth. It is about the only shotgun I use anymore. Why don't I use a 12 ga. for the heavy stuff? Because I like my 16 ga. the best.

Is it the same as an SG 16? I have not been able to find a recipe fpr 1oz loads with the Fed Hull/U-Clays and anything but WAA16 oe BPG/BP wads.

I do have SG 16 wads though and need to know if I can use them.
