Does anyone know where I can buy some 16 GA 1-1/4 ounce factory loads - my preference is 4-shot ?

Mack’s Prairie Wings has the Hevi Shot “Duck” 16 Ga 2 3/4" 1-1/4 Oz in #4 shot. They are kind of pricey but get the job done.

Hopefully this helps

I appreciate being made aware.

Actually I was hoping to find traditional lead sot loads.

I know Federal made some up to fairly recently.

Winchester did too, but I don’t know how long ago they stopped producing them.

I do not believe anyone is making a 1 1/4 oz 16 right now.

Old Winchester, Federal, versions come up for sale on gunbroker sometimes and I have brought them that way, but they don’t do anything more for me than a good 1 1/8 load

Federal Premium #4's are a good load.

The Federal Pheasants Forever shells come with 1-1/8 oz No. 4 shot as well as 5 and 6. The velocity is right up there at an advertised 1425 fps.

I recently bought a mixed case of 16ga shells from a shop in Wichita. Included are two full boxes of Remington Magnum Express loads 3 1/2-11/4-4shot. Definitely long before the steel shot mandate. I will not use them in my LC Smith guns or any other for that matter.

I have no way to post photos and don't know how to do it. I haven't taken a photo since my bear hunt to Ontario in 2000 and that a long time ago

I thought when I saw a 16 ga box (empty) of these at pheasant fest it said 1 1/4 oz but Palmetto has them listed at 1oz. Don't see any on the Federal site yet??

At my local fleet store today.

That’s 18 boxes of 1 1/4oz #4 on the left.

Some 1 1/8oz #5 on the right.
