not me, you.
16ga of course.
I know so many hoarders of wads it makes my head spin. I know....I have 3000 up on my shelf. I shot 0 this year. even if I parked my 12ga...at 4 boxes a week? id be dead if I started today to shoot them up.
so its time to seriously rethink my inventory!
current price check on CB waa16's please.

I shoot 1,000 to 1500 16 gauge loads a year. So for me a little over two years.

Hmmmm

I shoot about 200 rounds a week at clays
I shoot many at doves in Sept and Oct.

So I shoot a bit over 10,000 rounds a year.

This is all gauges,

But in 16 gauge I will shoot a larger share of 16 gauge ammo as soon
as the ejectors are fitted in my Remington 3200 16 gauge barrel set Smile

Mike

the only 16ga id shoot regularly without fear of ruining it would be my m12 mod vr. the other 16's are a little old and I dont want to chance cracking old wood. so there lies the issue. time to let these wads go. heck...I still got 1000 factory 16 8's and 1000 16 8 reloads. that alone would keep me going for decades based on my usage. and the empty hulls. gotta be at least 500 of them too. geesh time caught up with me.

Yes, understand how time flys, I am now 71 and will be hard pressed to
load up and shoot everything before I pass.

Good concern to have Smile

I shoot five gauges. Over a year I’ll shoot about 1500 rounds, at clays, doves and pheasants. I’d say my 16 ga s consume 300 or so rounds a year.

bobski,

I belong to the Hartford Gun Club which has a very nice FITASC setup. I also belong to the CT Travelers.

After the CT Sporting Championship in August I put my 12 gauge down and shoot sporting with the 16 gauge September, October, November and December.

I also hunt upland both in CT and NE probably accounts for 75 to 100 rounds.

Put it all together and you get between 1,000 and 1,500 rounds of 16 ga.

When I had a place to shoot black birds, crows and pigeons I was up close to 5,000 rounds of 16 gauge a year but those days are long gone.

Now that I have the New Lacmiller deprimer/Resized 16 GA , yippee yahoooooo hurrah.🤗🤗🤗🤗

If you haven't noticed I am excited , now I can resize and set up my Hornady 366 in 16 GA and load fast enough to compete in the State Shoots in the surrounding states , 5/8 oz #9's out of SXS' and my wonderful Marlin 90's will now make it all possible.

I now have been away from the release triggers and those nonsense brain busting loads long enough to have mitigated the FLINCHING to a minimum
and go to winning with the 16 GA again , loading on a single stage just got to be way too much work.

When Kevin gets the mold to running again I want 3 cases of wads , oh by the way a surprise is in store concerning the next run , Mum's the word.

Regards Nick

I shoot mostly skeet/trap in western and coastal ct.
of all the decades of shooting and being part of Seymour f&g for 27 years, i never got an invite to Hartford, and there use to be many at sf&g who were members too. maybe someday.
ill be home to ct in feb. ill be shooting Torrington and nw shooters assoc. heck, might even bring the 16. no better not. Hartford may shun my 16ga reloads going piff--POOP from age. lol.

I shoot four rounds of skeet two days a week, so 200 shells a week. Your 6000 shells would get me a little more than halfway through the year.

I shoot an average now of 100shots a week at the local skeet club while during the summer I was shooting closer to 300 per week. In addition to a couple rounds of sporting clays each month (100 target rounds) I can say I average about 7000 rounds a year including hunting doves, quail and pheasant with a few ducks hunts added in.hen I was shooting a lot of sporting clay tournaments I registered 2500-3000 tagets per year in addition.
I order my wads by the case of 5000 when needed.
