Hi 16 gaugers! I've been dreaming of a 16 gauge LC Smith Field Grade featherweight for a while now and I think its time to start shopping around. Looking for input, leads and anything for sale. I have a good relationship with my local FFL for shipping or if you're in the NJ, NY, PA CT area I am willing to travel. Would prefer mod/full chokes and may consider opening the the chambers up. This is a gun that I do not plan to sell but pass on to the next generation so resale/collect-ability is not something I am concerned with. |

I have three elsies of which two were bought on gunbroker. I have had good luck finding my favorite guns online and suggest that you check out Gunbroker and other sites. My most recent find which has become my favorite is the 1924 Ideal model 16ga that I found on guns international, which was at a nearby store (Bass Pro Shop in Springfield) for a great price and after driving to Springfield(only a little over 100miles away) I took it home with me. |

I don't have any for sale-just want to say good choice! I have 2, a 20 ga with 26 inchers and a 16ga with 30 inchers. The 30's are harder to find than 26 or 28's but would recommend you hold out for 30's if you will use it for open country shooting. Also look out for stocks with a lot of drop at heel. Good Luck! |
