Hello, All,
Recently picked up a new Citrori Field Shot Show 2019 at a local sporting goods store. They also had a 2018 SS special Gran Lightning in 16...both quite nice!
I had previously checked out a A5/Sweet Six, but thought that was a bit light. Guys at the shop were questioning going to a 16ga, but I really just wanted something unique.
I gravitated towards the Field over all else cause of the grip and scnabel forend. Very similar feel/looks to my 686, and the Field came up to my shoulder/eye quite well. First 525 for me, but I read lots of great reviews and it is a looker.
I shot a few rounds to check out the patterns, and will hopefully get to bust some backyard clays after work today.
Glad to be here! |

I bought one in January and used it for clays and released pheasants the same month. It is now my favorite over/under shotgun. The balance and fit was perfect. I hope you enjoy! |

Thanks, Milo!
I did indeed get to shoot some trap - I had picked up a One Step Trius trap and cleared out some space in my wood - works like a charm!
Shot most of a box of Rem Game Loads, and the gun does shoot great with minimal recoil - just what I was after!
Congrats on yours too - enjoy it that great shotgun! |

I'm not familiar with all the Browning Citori models, but I have a Citori 16 GA Upland - 24" barrels, straight English style stock, Schnabel fore end.
It is a sweet heart of a gun, and very distinctive.
Every time I take it out I get compliments. |

Good luck with it. I did not know they made that this year, I'll check it out. |

The one I got is the Field, made in 2019 according to the serial #. They also had what I assumed was the 2018 SS special Lightning. |
