Well, I shoot or fish in the mornings
No one else but David and Me.
Then around noon head home and do home
stuff like mowing the yard and other honey dos.
Then what to do?
Well I have been playing with a bunch of 16 gauge stuff
Texan MII progressive, Mec Versamec, Pacific 105, Pacific 155
Ponsness Warren 375,
Mec Supersizer, Mec old Sizer, Texan old sizer.
Loading 2 3/4 and 2 1/2 inch stuff, just seeing what can be done
Entertaining

Mike,
Kinda what I have been doing also, but probably not shooting quite as much as you.
Actually shooting at Mid-Hudson Sporting Clays (Upper Hudson Valley in New York) on Wednesday.
I have been working on some 7/8 oz. loads that are around 1240 FPS. They shoot really nice in my CItori and are easy on the recoil.
I thought I was going to go fishing more, but shotguns are much more interesting, at least for me.
Been working on roll crimps, 7/8 oz. loads using 700-X and the DR-16 and doing maintenance on my reloaders |

O if I only had all that time. Between work and kids, everything gets pushed back. I usually start reloading at about 11pm when everyone is in bed. My day is coming. I know it is.
I think I can..... I think I can

Damn it mike. Sure glad to see you shooting as much as you do. Yea I was born in 71 so your right I got a long time to go. Thanks for reminding me. I even have a 9 year old, so college all over again. No light at the end of this tunnel, but I wouldn’t trade her for all the money in the world. She is daddy’s girl all day long. |

Toughest decision I had to make today was either to turkey hunt or fish. Fishing won out since I got up late at 0430 and sitting in front of the computer reading and drinking my coffee is way more comfortable than listening for gobbles. Instead I'll go across the road and hit the river again today. Yesterday was fun, the rainbows and landlocks were more cooperative than the big birds are anyway. Enjoy your day gents! |

Mark , have to do that backwards here ... Turkeys close at NOON !! Funny , as long as we don't get caught with this new virus , we are almost unaffected . Go to the club maybe 3 times a week . A few of the guys are really getting into renovations . Once the rewiring is done , the place will be virtually new . Kids are chomping to shoot some trap , the 410 guys have been shooting some scores "just in case " the league launches , etc . One of the nice things about red neck territory as opposed to living in the city - have done both , I'll take this ! |

I like turkey hunting in Nebraska. Reasonable amount of birds, great topography and you can hunt 30 minutes before sunrise to sunset.
What I don't like about it is, I can't buy a nonresident turkey permit this year because of the Covid-19!! |

I have two daughters, ages 27 and 33. Enjoy yours while you can because they are gone in the blink of an eye and you wonder, "Where did those 18 years go?" I would pay to have one more day with each of mine when they were nine. At that age, a dad can do no wrong...generally. |
