OK...finally figured out how to overcome "whippy barrel" in model 12 16 ga...just shoot and practice. No solid rib, no open choke, no weight in mag tube. Just practice and enjoy this trim and great little gun. Thanks for all the advice, but took the advice to learn to shoot a 6.5 Lb gun...
I feel really lucky to have this gun and I am lucky to have a 16 ga. I will complete the bird and duck season with it. Can't wait 'till dove season reopens...we still have a chance for doves in the latter part of the South Texas zone. |
