I've never seen a Beretta gun with French style mono-block/barrel contour. Any thoughts about this one? Also marked Krupp Steel.. Interesting...

I have no connection to this gun or the seller. (I also won't be bidding, have enough projects already!) Just passing it along here for others to see.

Thoughts/comments???

Poor condition issues aside, that's actually a very interesting gun. I've never seen one of those before.

Most of the Beretta guns from pre war times were destroyed when Italy was taken by the Germans. The few that escaped were out of country or owned by the elite. I have a 1933 SxS which was case colored and the breech face was perfect when I purchased it.
It is a 16ga of course with ejectors. The barrels are Krupp Esson three ring steel. The fact a 1922 gun has survived is amazing. It probably could tell some stories if it could talk.
