Just got my new Sweet 16 A5, tips the scales at 5 pounds 13.6 ounces, took it out SC shooting, shot a 79/100. I was aiming the gun the first 3-4 stations, then i started just concentrating on the target, and started doing a lot better. Really SWEET Gun.

I like mine. 5-13. I do hate that clunky pistol grip tho.

I also don’t like that pistol grip. Have seen pics of some that have been modified to reduce that pistol grip, but I’m learning to live with it.
I’ll be dove hunting with mine in five weeks.

Well worth the money to have it converted to straight stock

Love my new A5. It's officially earned the title of #2 grouse gun behind the Citori Superlight Feather. I think my 1927 AH Fox A grade has just become a safe queen, mostly because I always seem to forget there are two triggers - when it counts!

I’ll be glad to take it for a walk for you now and then. Anything I can do to help.

I love the gun. Pistol grip and all.
I am the other way. I dislike the feel of an English stock. I wish there were options for those that like them though.

They are great shooting autos. I had no problem whatsoever shooting the factory pistol grip. It just got to me using my preferred carrying positions. I have a buddy who carries his shotgun differently and he has no problems with the grip at all.

Dave, that is a very accurate statement. It’s not the shoot position, it’s the angle when carrying. And we carry a whole lot more than shooting.

In theory, a straight grip combined with a full forearm will point high at mounting. A POW grip might provide a more balanced POA for the new A5.

Mark Larson did mine

It works well

So did the original grip

But by the end of the day that steep radius hurt my wrist.

Shot a couple thousand rounds of Sporting Clays with it when I first got it to make sure I liked it. Kind of miss shooting it at for clays sometimes and have considered picking up another in 28" and keeping it intact this time.
