For sale is my Cogswell & Harrison 16 gauge, “The Victor” sidelock extractor. It was made in 1886 on the round body Scott and Baker patent of 1874. The barrels are 28 in., very well sleeved in the UK with only the faintest seam. They are British nitro proofed for 2 1/2 shells. Rib is original and inscribed 142 New Bond Street London with a bit of scroll at the end. Action is beautifully engraved in, sharp, fine scroll and gold cocking indicator, Cogswell & Harrison in banner and gas checks. Gun was rejoined and is tight as new. Forend is original with Rigby-type latch. Gun was beautifully restocked at some point in its life to modern dimensions. Stock is dark-streaked walnut, English grip with with blank oval along toe-line. Drops at 1 1/2 and 2 1/4, LOP 14 3/4. Price is $3150 shipped to you, as it is an antique. If you have any questions, my email is josephgraziano@gmail.com or text 703-789-0558. |

I assume this is the same gun listed on GI, If I am wrong let me know and I will delete
Absolutely lovely, especially when one considers 1886
