Over the last 10 days I have added 2 more 16's to the 3 already in the arsenal...
a 1955 Wingmaster deluxe that came with 3 barrels
26" Plain IC
28" Plain Mod
and I'm afraid the original barrel with the matted top..cut to 20" and re-beaded it was originally choked full..
A 1954 Standard A5 ~28" barrel with a deluxe Polychoke and no choke markings..gun is super clean and appears to be low-mileage..I cannot wait to shoot this one.
Working on pictures..please be patient. |

That just means you wasted 8 days. Although it was nice of you to leave some 16's for the rest of us.

You'll enjoy the A5, those are my favorite years.

Ron..... just making sure that they don't remain in the hands of the Infidels and Non-believers any longer than necessary..
Jeff.I'm sure I will enjoy it..I had a 1928/29 A5 of similar layout..it had the 65mm chamber..I shot a mountain of doves with it. Sold it at a moment of weakness to generate some money for Christmas one year. That won't happen with this one.

Sean,
I like the earliest 50's guns that have the cross block safety. (late 51)
Your gun was made right at the introduction of the 2 piece lifter (speedload feature). '53-'54 Does your gun have it?
It's certainly not necessary but it is kind of neat. Most of my guns are earlier and dont have "speedload" so I usually forget to use it in my later guns.
