Went to a small mom and pop gun store the other day saw they had powder but not quite what I was looking for. I use Red dot for my 12 ga. and some 16ga. loads they only had a couple in 1lb bottles. The had clays in 8 pounders but I did not see any Universal clays. there were more people in there to my liking so I left. I called Saturday regarding a rifle I'm interested in getting and asked if he still had the Clays, there are enough loads that I can easily switch if needed. He did and also had some Universal so I got both. The Universal was 1 pounders but that's fine I use it for my 28 and a new load for my 16 I have yet to try out. I also bought a bottle of Blackhorn 209 for my muzzleloader. Owner said primers by fall hopefully so that's good news. Joe |

I was able to get some Vectan D20 delivered from Graf's the other day. I had seen it on there site for a good price and ordered ten bottles of it. The total price with shipping and Hazmat was $22 per 1.1lb bottle. Now I can save my last keg of Universal for loading my 28ga.
I had used the Vectan powder before and been very happy with it in my 16ga |

Got 2 lbs yesterday, but little higher here in Texas at 27 a pound. I was actually planning to use it in 20, but see there is some loads for 16 and 12. |

I am out of Universal and haven't seen any around here in my travels. But I have some Unique and lots of 700-X for 7/8 oz. loads. So I am good for now......but I miss the Universal for 1 oz. loads. |

Picked up a 4 lb jug of Universal the other day, and 4 1lb bottles of 20/28. My standard load 7/8 oz in a 2 1/2" hull uses Univversal, and the 20/28 makes great 3/4 and 7/8 oz loads with the DR 16 wad, still got 2 bags of those, and my 20 ga load uses 20/28 also. |

I'm down to a couple pounds of Universal. Have had an 8 lb'er on order through the skeet club since August. I use it for 1 oz loads in the 16 as well as cast loads in the 45 ACP, 45 Colt, 38-55, and light cast plinking loads in the 308. |
