| Is anyone aware of a published 1oz. load using AA473 and WAA16 wads? I have loaded AA473 for a long time with SP16’s but I’m out and have plenty of WAA16’s. I’ see loads for the WAA16’s with WSF but apparently AA473 predates the Winchester wad so I don’t see any published by Winchester. |

I see around 20 grains but all use the Remington wad and compression formed hulls.

I would load 2 or 3 or so and see what the crimp looks like. |

| Thanks, I’m currently loading 21.3 grains of AA473 with the SP16’s. The only published load I could find with a correlation between the two wads was in 1 1/8 oz using 540. That data showed backing off 2 grains from 26.5 to 24.5 switching to the AA16 wad for 1185 FPS and the pressure jumped over 2,000 psi. |
