I see this wad listed in reload data on Hodgdon's website. It's for use with Winchester polyformed shells and is used for 1 and 1-1/8 ounce loads.
Can anybody tell me what wad this is? Rem SP16? Something from Ballistic Products?
I can't find the information on their website.

You guessed it...Ballistic Products. This is the sporting 16g wad. It works good for me. I do try to use the SPS16 Remington when I can only because of there local availability.
Best,

From the photo in the Balistic Products catalog it appears to be a Gualandi 1621 which will make a great 1 ounce load in the Winchester (Cheddite) hull. I'm not sure if there is enough room for an once and an eigth or shot. I would recommend the Gualandi 1618 for your ounce and an eigth loads. |
