Thanks for sharing, interesting that the CSD loads run out basically the same with the 2 different recipes. Guessing the CSD's will handle the TSS just fine since their shot cup walls/petals are thicker than the VP80's.
It'll be even more interesting to see the patterns...Hmmm...~600 pellets (assuming 18g/cc) around 1100fps....isn't it kinda difficult to count pellet holes for pattern density or choke efficacy when there's just one big hole in the target? Fun interesting stuff. Again, thanks for sharing. |

Interesting, so you’re simply loading up tss as if it were steel. I don’t know why I hadn’t considered that. I suppose psi and fps would be different but most likely a great starting point to assume safety. |

It is not that simple , you can not just sub TSS for Steel shot . TSS is a lot denser than steel . |

Oh, I understand that. Why I implied the starting point. Too expensive of materials to play around with, without some kind of logical starting point.
Reading this line though I get the impression I might have made an error on my master load list. I believe I treated the VP80 and the other wad as universally the same. This discussion has me wishing to review that belief and adjust accordingly. |
