Ithaca 37 40's vintage.
Factory finish is gone from neck of stock form years of use. Other than that not too bad for old work gun.
Not wanting to strip and refinish the entire thing. Never have liked looks of a refinished stock. Just want to seal and protect it more or less and not stand out like a sore thumb against rest of stock.
Hunt in snow frequently, so wet and sweat from wool mittens are normal conditions.
Ideas appreciated.

+1 on TimberLuxe. I used it to bring back the finish on my Trojan 16 after hunting in the rain with it. Great stuff! |

Might want to take a look at Howards Feed & wax. Works wonders on old worn stocks. |
